Must be attention that makes it grow – worry to the third degree – me me me I remind myself trying to hold on – breathe – tainted air – must be – trapped with me – thankfully outside the wind blows – cools me down – tells me all about the night – mentions a spot on the Moon where a city’ll grow to be seen from Earth – but I’m counting street-light fractals as it smokes my blunt – look up – stars don’t trigger astigmatism – they’re too far away – eyes closed I thank the world for the lesson and before I go inside have no problem performing my sacred duty – breathe.
