To generalize everything is war.
Sorry, typo –
To General Eyes, everything is war.
We, the people, are we, the enlisted. Ideology is the battlefield, right on one side, wrong on the other, no man’s land between. To sacrifice a life for an inch is an honorable death; many are the cases where lives end for less. Such is the case with combat. The end – victory – justifies the means.
But if everything is war, there is no end. And if there is no end, any deposit, even that with the value of a life, is a measly interest payment toward infinity written in red.
Don’t let that be you, your family, or your friends.
This is literature for the conscientious objector. This is a guidebook to mindfulness. This is a rejection of automatic aggression, of common knowledge, of permanent right and wrongs, of dichotomy. This is a commitment to end war in a world that never stops fighting. This is an induction to the Miseducated Militia.
E pluribus unum.
